Non-traditional ways of gardening. What is considered traditional? Maybe symmetry or rows of boxwoods. Tons of mulch. Only roses. Gaps between plants to where the bed looks more like a garden of mulch then a garden of plants.

What is considered non-traditional? Letting plants do what they do. Let them take over the sidewalk, grow up the wall, take over your whole room, apartment, roof. Even the cup holder and dashboard of your car.

Traditional way of launching a book: tons of instagram post, collecting emails, tours, interviews.

Non traditional way of launching a book: I’m about to find out. How do you launch a book to the world when you don’t want to interact with the world by means of social media? Old school, reach out to family and friends, word of mouth networking. The whole world is not my target or “ Target” or “amazon” for that matter. Maybe kickstarter or indigogo? I don’t know at this point though I’m glad my main profession is gardening so I can take a break from the finer details of trying to let my mental seeds be dispersed in the wind.
